Digital radio graphs are one of the many progressive elements of our office. These computer developed digital images require 90% less radiation then their film predecessors. The decision to go digital has enabled us to avoid the use of traditional silver oxide films that are developed in environmentally caustic solution.

These radio graphs are taken in a similar fashion to that of traditional film, however the film has been replaced with an imaging plate. The image is recorded to the plate and is developed using a computer scanner

Your radio graph may be displayed in any treatment area in the office. These digital images are also an advantage with regards to treatment as they enable us to enlarge, highlight, magnify and diagnose the images in a variety of ways that were never possible with conventional film radio graphs.
